Weekly Open Play
We play once a week at Revolution Church located at 2380 Montebello Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80918
Open gym times are Tuesdays 6-8pm and Saturdays from 3-5pm. Please contact us for any time changes before your first visit.

Come as you are, bring comfortable court shoes, and your racket. Admission is $15 per person which includes unlimited shuttles. You may purchase a pack of sessions for a discounted rate. $80 for 8 visits, $60 for 5 visits. ​​​​

The Pikes Peak Badminton Club strongly encourages players to wear eye protection. Even at only 1/6 of an ounce in weight a shuttle striking an eye at great velocity can do permanent and terrible damage.
Club Members
Our club members come from a variety backgrounds - whether it be in age, demographic, or skill level. You'll meet people from all over the world with various occupations. We not only come together to play, but have become a community of friends with a common love for the game of badminton.
Tournaments
The Colorado Badminton Community is vibrant and growing. Throughout the state there are tournaments just about every other month throughout the year. Our club hosts a tournament in the Fall every year.

Pikes Peak Badminton Club History
​
In the late 1980s The Pikes Peak Badminton Club was founded by Jim Stabler and Walt Freudenberg. For a few years the players played only at the Downtown YMCA in the mornings and some evenings at the Olympic Training Center after the resident athletes were done using their courts on a given day. After the Olympic badminton athletes moved their program to California we had to find a new place to play and played at the downtown YMCA until COVID-19 changed everything. After a year of shut down, we resumed at various locations and currently play at Revolution Church (Old Garden Ranch YMCA).
